Posted on Apr 17, 2010 under pay per click |Many pay money for ppc?
What is the use?
When we enter a query do the search engine searches entire the web to get results?
More about working of search engine?
PPC advertising is the main source of Google’s Billions, some spend less than $10 a day on adwords ads, others spend more than $10,000 a day, it just takes a credit card and a $5 startup fee to start advertising, most web hosting accounts include a $25 coupon for a first tine Adwords account.
PC is a convenient way to pay for advertising, since you ony pay for actual visitors, typically the ad may be displayed 100 times for each time it’s clicked, most ppc ads probably fit the $0.25 to $2.00 range, though there are some juicy legal/medical terms that cost a fortune. One bids on specific search phrases, prices are established by competitive bids.
It’s gotten a lot more complicated and expensive in the last few years. Facebook recently start their own PPC ad program, worth mentioning because their member profiles allow very specific demographics, you could display ads only to Women within 10 miles of your town, who are engaged and celebrating their birthday today.
Normal organic search result are the free, hard earned way to get visitors, the occurrences of a searched phrase and related text on your site establishes it’s relevance to a search, the number of other sites linked to yours primarily establishes the popularity and authority of your site and consequently, the search ranking for your site. Highly ranked search result pages often have thousands of other site linking to the site.

Also PPC(pay per click) means that a ad company aka. adsense will pay you everytime someone clicks on the link they give you.
You see many type of ads on sites, this is how they earn money to run the sites.
Also, so many people use a search engine, like google or yahoo. People want to rank higher on these because the more specific word you have of it on your site the better ranking you will get. SO if you search in movie, the first link you will get means it is a more popular sites most of the time.
Thanks

Pay per click ads cost the advertiser every time someone clicks on their ad, whether it is in search engine results or on other web sites. Google version of ppc is Adwords/Adsense. Adsense is where google pays you to have ads on your site, adwords is where you pay to put your ads on other sites.
google spiders the entire web, yes. They visit some sites often, like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, and other sites not so often, like most of mine =) They archive a "copy" of sites they don’t index very often, which makes it possible to return your answers quickly.

PPC means Pay Per Click, it is a kind of online advertising. you pay to search engines or other PPC services providers to flip your ad on relevant websites and you pay to the company everytime your ad is clicked. this is how PPC works.
Yes.. Search Engines have their own website directory where almost all websites are stores. Google simple goes into its library, explore the contents and gets back to you with results. That library is call Catalog or Index.
