I heard if you click a URL you’d be paying the host of the website. How does the host actually take money from you???? Can you please explain in detail?
Well, how DO they take money from you? Is it they take it off ur internet bill?

They DON’T make money if you click their website, only if you click an ad on the site. Site owners have the option to put ads on their sites, if they sign up for a service such as google adsense, after a period of time when enough people click the ads on your site, google sends you a check for the amount you earned.

For every time the URL is clicked, the web host gets paid a certain amount.

So multiply the square root of the number of clicks to the power of 2 by the amount per click, and that’s how much they get paid

I’m having problems with Google Adsense. Its Google’s advertising program. There program lets you display adds on your site so you can earn money by pay per click. There program searches your site then displays ads relational to your content. The problem is that its to close to my content. I would like a advertising program where I can choose keywords and the ads will show up accordingly. I want a advertising program where I control the ads. HELP !

With Google Adsense there is an option to select what sort of advertisement you want to display on your site.

Just go to your control panel Add setting.

The google would the best shot to earn more money as it gets more visitors and payout is much higher than anywhere else.

On this site people would set up their own ads and you would click on them or complete some kind of task to earn "web cash" and then you could use that "web cash" to pay for advertising on that site or cash it out for real money. Does anyone know what site that was?

Would Adsense be worthwhile? It depends on a lot of factors and how you turn those factors to benefit you. I earn 5-digits a month from Adsense so it is DEFINITELY WORTHWHILE for me. If you’re earning pennies from the program, then either you don’t know how to maximize it or your site is better suited to run a different type of program

You won’t know how much is the per click amount because the amount depends on the bid placed by the advertiser.

Aside from the bidding, there is what is called smartpricing that adjusts the price paid by the advertiser depending on the nature of the page. No one knows how this actually works. But it can affect the pricing of the ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $0.50/click - but your site is smartpriced - then the cost may be discounted lower (e.g. $0.25). So you may try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smartpricing gets to you, then you may not get as much per click as what you are expecting from your keywords.

In terms of earning money on Adsense, your mileage varies. One website with 10,000 uniques a day can earn $50 a month while another may earn $5,000. It is not easy to predict how much you will earn from Adsense. The only way you can learn about how your site will perform with Adsense is through trying it.

Adsense is not like other affiliate programs when you know how much exactly you will earn.
