Yes, but results vary for every advertiser and conversion results are dependent on numerous factors, including site quality, content uniqueness and quality, product quality, customer service, clean usable site design, plenty of call to action and landing page optimization to test and continually improve results.
However research has shown lower conversion rates on Yahoo compared to Google. MSN conversion rates are slightly higher, but they produce a miniscule amount of conversions compared to Google and Yahoo. You may end up getting lower conversion rates on Yahoo and MSN, but if you're cost to compete is significantly less than Google, you may actually be earning more with Yahoo or MSN. Google dominates the search market share, but if your budget allows it and you have resources to manage such an endeavor, it's a wise move to maintain campaigns with all 3 of the top tier providers, Google, Yahoo and MSN. Your own testing should indicate which engine provides the highest conversion rate for you and should garner the largest investment.
Best of Luck,

You should be doing BOTH Google and Yahoo.
Google typically gives you more volume of impressions and clicks.
However, in certain industries, Yahoo has more searchers.
You want the truth?
Yahoo usually gives you cheaper traffic, i.e. lower click costs even though you'll have lower volume.
