Anyone knows which marketing/affiliates websites will be ok with paying them per lead or per action rather than per click?

I’ve applied SEO techniques in designing websites with Yahoo Site-builder and have had great success. The only time my site didn’t come up on the first page of a keyword search is when we paid for a sponsored appearance with that search engine. The site came up first on all other major search engines except the one we had a sponsored position with.

The following is one of the myths as given out by StomperNet in their 7 Deadly SEO mistakes e-mail course. I believe the same applies to all search engines.

There’s this little group in Washington D.C. called the Federal Trade Commission that is charged with protecting consumers from fraud and to keep companies from engaging in unfair trade practices. These are the same people that successfully stopped Microsoft from using operating system dominance to take over the web browser market.
For Google to allow Adwords to aid in organic placement would not only be a lie to consumers, but would also serve to extort money from web businesses.
Of course, I’m not a lawyer, but there are some Google board members who are!

Now, I’m probably going to get yelled at for telling you this (by other users who have had no problems with AdSense) but when I started up my website I was really disturbed by the Intellectual Property Rights clause that google has in the agreement. I’m not sure what context it was in for the website you are looking to build, but for my google would’ve actually owned the copyrights of my artwork. My mom is an attorney and she looked it over with me - I was uncomfortable putting it on my website.

I’m really sorry to rain on your parade and please just check into it before you put AdSense on the same page as your artwork. I would go to websitebabble.com and ask your question there. It is a forum of webmasters that might be able to help you with this question where I can’t.:-)

The best is still Google. Yahoo is better than MSN adcenter. Although Google is more expensive, the quality and quantity is good for PPC marketing.

The other search engines give significantly less traffic and it’s probably not worth the effort.

I’ve not tried My Space yet.

I’m looking into getting a pay per click management company to manage my Adwords account. My question is, what is the normal monthly management fee that I should expect to pay? I currently have 280 or so keywords spread across several campaigns.

There are a couple of pricing models out there but your question can’t be answered accurately without more details e.g. what niche are you competing in? are your landing pages optimized for a great quality score?
The most popular pricing model is the "percentage of ad spend" and most charge 15% + setup fees.
I would try to stay away from super cheap offers like "flat fee $99/mo" as you’ll most likely not get great results.
I know that http://www.trivalley.com in California charges 20% but they are doing something right as they have some high end clients.

What affects on how much money I get per click? I know it’s something about keywords, but which keywords are most effective? And is it true that english adds make more money than other?

Making maximum possible money with AdSense depends on three factors:

- Maximizing your CTR (Click through rate)
- Maximizing the targeted traffic
- Maximizing the pay per each click.

The techniques you follow to maximize your CTR can not only increase the user responsiveness but also increases the targeted traffic.

Your earnings will depend on a number of factors, including the types of ads being served to your pages, the cost per click or cost per impression of these ads, and your users’ click through selections. What should you do to increase AdSense CTR?

Webmasters have very diverse views on how to increase CTR. It largely depends upon the the quality of its content, keywords you are targeting, design and layout of your website, placement of AdSense ads, page optimization and various other factors. Generally, AdSense blocks wrapped between the quality content works the best. For the websites having poor quality content, placing the Ads before the start of the content works best.

*Proper Ad Positioning: Proper positioning of ads on your website has direct impact on your CTR. Change the location of the ads and watch changes in your CTR regularly. Try to locate the area of the page where the focus of the visitor can be. Generally, AdSense ads near the quality content or other crucial areas like navigation bar tend to perform better. But it really depends upon the keywords you are targeting, and the traffic you have.

Tweak and Experiment

Experiment and experiment a lot, till you are satisfied with the tweaks you have done to achieve highest CTR.
