PPC Beat is the place for information on Pay Per Click Advertising

If i want to display a hoplink on my website to promote other companies am i subject to fees? Do i get charged for someone clicking on the advert? I am of the opinion that it is just if you do google adwords that you ppc. it’s all a bit confusing. Thank you in advance.

No charge to you whatsoever.
Anyone who shows up on your website and clicks any link will not cost you anything. It’s getting them there that can cost the money, and is one reason you might choose to use PPC.
Also, if you have Adsense ads running on your website you will actually get paid (just a little) each time someone clicks them.

I just revamped the company website, came up with a take a survey and you could win a gift card giveaway, & launched an adwords campaign, but have virtually no traffic to the site and very little funds to get it there… Any ideas on other PPC (no/low min spend) or anything else that could give me a boost? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Marketingnube,

Let’s consider your company website as a shop and all companies that could be buying from you as a person in your town.

We could organize this market in 6 different categories:
a) Recommenders
b) People buying more than once.
c) First time buyers
d) Enters
e) People passing by
f) Others

What you need to do is to come up with actions to move people from a category to the next.
Now, remember that you have different level of information about the people in each category; that makes it possible, and recommendable to treat people in each category in a different way.
As you can see, your web site may not help you much on moving people from category “f” to category “e”; but it can be pretty effective on moving people form category “e” into “d” and soon.
Here are some actions that can help you in each category:
From “f” to “e”:
-Advertise in local news papers, local radios, sponsor local schools teams, etc
From “e” to “d”:
-The advertises above will already drive some people to visit your site but you can get even more traffic with the next actions:
-Social Media Marketing -> you need to be active in forums, have a Facebook account for your company, have a twitter account, have a blog and keep it updated.
From “d” to “c”
-You need to give something: show the benefits and features of your product or service, test drive, try it for free, discounts, etc. But, just giving it away may not be enough. You might need to communicate what you are giving. That’s what the next action can help you with.
-Have a news letter; put your promotions in your website or blog. Use twitter to promote the discounts, etc.
From “c” to “b”
-In most cases, it has a lot to do with customer services.

I hope it helps!

Does anyone have a promo code for (Google Adwords, Yahoo Marketing, Ask, etc..)?
Thanks

Here are some good and valid ones http://www.davidtan.org/promote-website-with-free-ppc-advertising-credits/

My company spends about $25K per month on advertising, mostly on Google, but wants to double that in the next 3-5 months. We’re also considering advertising on Yahoo! and Bing. Any products to recommend?

I’d go to PPC forum sites and see what they recommend. Good idea advertising on Yahoo and Bing and MSN and so on! Always think outside the box with PPC.

Perhaps you could set up a google alert to see what’s the best and most up to day bid management tool?

I’d suggest something where you don’t so much reinvent the wheel. If you know the keywords your competition are using you could devote a certain amount of cash towards following up on those keywords and doing a better job at tweaking/writing the ads than they do.

Which one pays out the most that you’ve found? Do they send a cheque to your house or something?

If you want to put something on your site that you get paid every time someone clicks rather than only getting paid if they sign up for something or buy something, by far the biggest and most reliable is Google Adsense. Although many people say it is no longer very profitable there are still possibilities to make good money if you target the right "clicks". You get paid a percentage of the what the Google PPC advertiser pays to Google, therefore the higher cost keywords pay best.

Depending on how much you earn each month Google will send a cheque or do a wire transfer direct to your bank account. You need a lot of traffic to make any serious money.

You could also look into CPA (Cost-Per-Action) Offers as you can get paid a very good commission for just getting people to submit their email address.

I would like to do a pay per click ad but i am unable to find this section in yahoo what is it under??

Does anyone use the option to search in yahoo answers? This question was already asked a million times.
And this goes also for all those who prefer to say that this is a lie and say that is not working, simply because they register in a a scam or haven’t enough patience to do some bucks.Anybody who was in one of these sites by at least 2 or 3 months knows that it is slowly but safe, and you do not get rich or anything like that, just transform the minutes lost in the PC into profit.

In fact, I did not want to know anything about this. But then I realized that all the time lost waiting for loadings in the pc, and just click on an ad, I will continue doing something else, I don’t spend time reading advertising (like changing channels on the TV commercials) So I decided to register in those sites. And the truth is not so much you earn, but enough to just minutes a day (that We waste in loadings) to make some extra bucks, it paid enough for the internet bill and to have a Rapidshare and Megaupload acount. Also to buy needless things in the net. It’s not much, but 50 or 100 dollars extra cash per month is an aid (some earn more than that). But, you need patience, a lot of patience because it takes several months to reach that number (if not the whole world would do), but once You got referrals,it’s all much easier.
And be careful with those scams (those that offer get rich without effort, or pay more than 0.1/0.2 cents per click or have to gather a lot to do extraction, are all FRUD), but some always paid. You must remember that there is no easy money, though this is not at all difficult, it can be tiring routine as always (even if only 5 min) but you get used to not mind and you see it still your stuff always in the pc and give clicks through these pages whenever you decide, askMe any questions that you like,I Help.Good Luck

PD2: This is not spam if it is used to answer a question, and I only complete the information provided.

How to recognize SCAM:
1) offer large gains money. Some of these are ridiculous amounts of money, eg $ 100 per click and daily gains of several thousand dollars, while other sites offer more discrete quantities of money, like $ 1 or $ 0.05 and $ 0.20 per click.
Firms would be paying under $ 0.02 per click, usually only pay $ 0.01.
2) The price of advertising (advertising) is cheaper than what it actually. For example, 500 clicks at $ 0.5/click to a minimum value of $ 0.50, which relidad should cost $ 2.5. A site with a large loss can not be maintained, can not exist. In these cases, there are two options: the administrator of the site is off to the promoters (who pay for advertising), it is clear we will not send any e-mails to be, and / or its members (who make clicks to earn money), not because they will never pay.
3) The minimum payment is too high. An honest site, usually does not set an amount exceeding $ 10, with only some exceptions for places like bienpagado and leepubli these sites are serious. If the minimum payment is $ 50, $ 80 or $ 100, the chances of fraud are almost certain.
4) The design of the site is suspect. Sites that do not pay, they are similar to other sites that do not pay, they often have pictures of people on the homepage, and usually all or most of their banners are recognized scams. There are places that sometimes too honest promoted scam, but it is not the responsibility of managers, but the promoters.
5) The terms (TOS) … payments should not exceed 30 days or 6 weeks at most. Exception some well known websites.
6) The most secure way to find out if you are trying XD scam is, but surely not want to waste time trying it:

In short you do not holiday in places that offer $ 10, $ 1 or $ 0.50 per click, because they do not pay for as much as you can serve is to make advertising, that if permitted by the site as At-mails (Scam ).
