Does anyone earn from affiliate marketing without a website and through PPC services like Adwords and Yahoo search marketing, etc? How did you start?
You need to do a lot of "homework" and research before spending money on PPC to drive traffic to affiliate merchants.
If you're thinking about buying a "program" that some promoter is selling, think twice.
I've written an article explaining why most people do NOT make money from this strategy. See http://www.MarkWelch.com/affiliate-arbitrage.htm (no ads, just advice).
A good place to research affiliate marketing is ABestWeb (http://www.ABestWeb.com/) which is a community of affiliates and merchants — don't post there until you've spent at least 10 hours searching and reading old discussions.

Roll Out AdWords Campaigns at Warp Speed
In a perfect world, we would always create our PPC campaign with tiny ad groups focused on a very tight theme.
Both the keywords and the ads for these ad groups would be 100% focused on that theme to ensure that the click through rates are as high as they could be.
Throw a customized and targeted landing page into the mix and you’ve got yourself a headache.
Usually the biggest issue we have is the time it requires to complete each campaign.

I'm trying to discover what keywords an individual company is using for their pay-per-click campaigns on either Google, Yahoo or MIVA. Any tools out there that can do this??
If you are refering to a company that provides affiliate programs for others there isnt any keyword, everyone who joins has an account number imbedded in their page link. this code can be found by simply right clicking the link and looking at its properies.

should i charge per click or monthly for: 50,000 clicks per month ……………and how anbout 250,000 clicks per month…………and how much should i charge for advertising on my website page given these to scenarios…….any educated guess would be helpful…..
50t visits per month is just above the point when charging per impression becomes more profitable than charging per click. 3$ per 1000 impressions is sort of average price. as far as i know impressions are priced in between $0.2 and $20. you have to be really high profile publisher in order to get the 20.
However, it depends on the contents - if you provide high traffic 'teaser' contents e.g. written in such a manner that makes people to search for more info and therefore to click on contextual ads - its better to stick to ppc model.
It is a matter of calculations to justify the type of ads you want placed on your site. Some mixed model also can work assuming that you have high traffic and channels with various contents

how do you determine cost per sale for a pay-per-click program?
To calculate the cost per sale for a PPC campaign, you’ll need to know the number of clicks you got on the campaign, your cost per click and the number of sales you made through the campaign, that is
Cost-per-sale = (cost-per-click x number-of-clicks) / number-of-sales

I'm curious about advertising psychology and buying habits. Does anyone know the statistics associated with ppc advertising? What is the best location on the page to place the adds? next to photo? close to the left? or right? after a small intro to an article? I'm mostly interested in if people click adds on the left or right side of the page more often.
Thank You! Very Helpful indeed.
Research has shown that peoples eyes travel across a computer screen in an "F" pattern. People start in the top left, and the look at everything from top left to top right, as well as top left to bottom left, and then to a lesser extent from middle left to middle right.
The bottom right of a screen is a complete dead zone, as is the bottom middle.

Overture, google, etc
I have a competitior that challenges me at $6.00 per click per keyword. Is this normal? I think its high. Or is he just high.
Truth is, higher prices give you the impression of more value just by itself. If you want my advice, NEVER compete with low prices, it's stupid. I'd never even mention low prices, instead I'd mention value and do my best to deliver. Then you don't need to appologize for your prices (and shouldn't eighter). I have a friend who opened a club in my city and he told me from the get-go that he will charge more than anybody else around. Of course he made the place more exciting than any other place I know of around here, and people came! Because his pitch didn't include the price but the VALUE. It's one of the most popular clubs in my city right now.

Does Youtube have a program like googleads where they pay you for views or comments to your videos? I’ve done some research, but I have only found a page where they do partnerships with large companies. I’m sure the companies get paid, but I’m looking for something for normal people who frequently upload videos. I get a lot of clicks on my videos and would like to start making a little bit of money for my effort.
Actually, there is a youtube partner program.
You get paid for views, comments, and more!
But you have to have a certain amount of views on videos to qualify.
But it’s really cool because you can get a channel banner and autoplay on your channel video!
Go to http://youtube.com/partners for more info.
