I used to use http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/ but the page is now gone. I would like a resource link so I can easily type in a keyword phrase and see what people are paying per click for the phrase. Does anyone know of one?
The Overture was such a great tool, but there are some out there that are equally useful as well

I'm pretty sure that Google will not let you choose which links you can display, but are there any networks that will?
Secondary question:
which is the best network of this kind?
No.
Google is a contextual advertising network, where the ads shown are based on the content. Right now, no contextual ad network can let you choose the PPC ads that will show on your site.
While you cannot determine which ads are shown on your site with Google, you can ban the ads that you do not want. You can put them in your Competitive Ad filter (up to 200 URLs I think)
But you can apply to banner ad networks where most, if not all, allow you to select the CPM and CPC ads that you want shown on your site.

An interesting and final keyword elite introduction which is a great way to end something.
Ok this presentation of keyword elite is not like any other presentation, this is final part of the project is actually the most interesting.
Wouldn’t you love to find out your exact competition pay per click strategies???
I mean think about it; you got a website that is very popular selling exactly what you are selling but for some reason they make tens of sales per day while you making close to none and your competition is seeing all this success from pay per click marketing on Google adwords.

I got into this with another company promoting websites as money making businesses and now I'm being charged by Yahoo even I never completed my website and it's not out there. Unfortunately I don't have an account number or any details on this deal.
Go to Yahoo Account Administration and opti for Account Status off.
You can pause the campaigns which automatically stop ad display.
Also you can say pre paid mode of charging

I use ppc so I know how it works but what tools, etc. does it take to start a ppc business?
I would suggest creating a blog, surround it with PPC ads, then promote your blog to a targetted audience. As far as specific tools, I wouyld suggest that you review: Clickbank.com, CJ.com, Pheedo.com and Refer-it.com.

I am an affiliate for a health food company. I've never advertised before and Im thinking about trying ppc. I do not have enough money for yahoo or google. are there any other alternatives that I could try and still get great results?
The BEST pay per click programs is Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords because it is easy to use, fast, has the widest reach. You don't have to spend a fortune on it — in fact you can budget for $20 a day and be very strategic in your selection of keywords. Instead of paying for example for a broad keyword that is often very expensive such as "diamonds" , use cheaper keywords that are more specific "1 karat yellow diamond ring"
Nonetheless, here are alternatives:
Kanoodle http://www.kanoodle.com
Clicksor http://www.clicksor.com
Contextweb http://www.contextweb.com/
Bidclix http://www.bidclix.com/

I am a beginner but have learned a lot about search engine optimization (SEO). We have worked on Google AdWord campaigns, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and used Google Analytics. We used a broad search as well as an industry specialized search, which has obviously been more cost effective.
I have recently submitted our company and link to multiple industry directories with higher PageRank than ours. I have used free keyword tools found in AdWords, Analytics, and Search Marketing, respectively, as well as the free tool on wordtracker.
Also, we have recently created static pages to our web site for added content. Hopefully our recent steps (directory submission, upping our bids in PPC programs, and creating content based pages) will work.
Can anyone help on ways to direct more traffic to our site? Help us maximize our ROI? We usa a dynaminc web site but want to raise our PageRank and site visits.
Thank you,

I would agree with the previous post. Make your site for people not search engines.
A few SEO tips.
A unique title tag on each page would be a plus
Don't worry too much about your page rank. What your are after is improved rankings in the search engine results.
What keywords are you targeting? My suggestion — if you are having success with PPC then see which keywords are bringing you the most sales and then begin to optimize your site for those terms.
You should consider adding even more content to your site this will reduce code bloat. Optimal # to shoot for here is 20% of the info in your source to be code and the rest content.
Another thought…begin to optimize your site for the specific products that you offer. So that way when I go to Google and search for a specific power adapter your site will show. The way to do that is content and editing some of the other on page SEO factors like a title tag.
